I understand that there may be risks involved with my participation in The Krispy Kreme Challenge. I attest that I am medically able and properly trained for the event and agree to abide by any decisions of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including to but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, effects of the weather, traffic, the condition of the road, and gastrointestinal discomfort. I knowingly accept all risks and agree to relieve Florida State University, and its Board of Trustees including their employees, agents, representatives, assigns, and successors of any responsibility, liability, or cost for any accident or injury of any nature to me arising from my participation, including assuming any costs as a result of such accident or injury in connection with the activities associated with my participation.

Having read and understood this waiver and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release The Krispy Kreme Challenge, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, Florida State University, United Way of the Big Bend, The Student United Way, Gulf Winds Track Club, race organizers and volunteers, and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind I may have in the future resulting from my participation in this event including claims of negligence and gross negligence and give up and forever release my right to file any lawsuit against FSU, and its Board of Trustees involving any accident or injury to me resulting from my participation in any activity associated with the Krispy Kreme Challenge though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.

I grant permission to all foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for legitimate purposes. I understand that bicycles and skateboards are not allowed in any event. I will abide by these guidelines. Race will be held rain or shine. No refunds.
